Woodstock: 50th Anniversary
Mutual Muse Productions is back and bigger than ever, bringing you an event 50 years in the making! Join some of Nashville's finest musicians at the one and only Mercy Lounge, for a two-day long celebration of Woodstock's 50th Anniversary. Local artists from all parts of Nashville's incredibly diverse scene will cover famous Woodstock performances from artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, The Who, and SO many more.
Music City is one of America's most influential places where a true "New Era" of musicians are being born every minute. Each artist on this bill will not only cover songs from these artists famous sets, but will also sprinkle in 1-2 original songs, in the spirit of "carrying the torch" of Woodstock's pivotal place in using MUSIC and ART to inspire peace, and love across the land during a divided time. This celebration is made in part to show the world that Nashville stands for peace and love, despite any challenges we're facing as a country, and a world right now. Join us in celebrating such an important time in our history with music, art, and more!
